Oil of Essence was started back in 2018 in a Bronx Kitchen. With the encourage and support of her high school family, CEO and Founder, Essence Powell, was able to grow a side hustle of homemade oils  wrapped in plastic bags to an established hair care brand with over 5 products, with more to come.
